New Home Design Consultant
Guide Clients through the design process to help them create their Medallion Dream Home.
• Responsible for delivering a superior, first-class buying experience for all customers.
• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs, lifestyle, design preferences, and budget.
• Advise clients on selecting materials, finishes, fixtures, color schemes, and other design elements that align with their style and budget.
• Guide homeowners through the design process and help the home buyer in selecting interior and exterior options to enhance the personalization of the home.
• Prepare and review Selection Sheets; prepare Change Orders as required; verify accuracy of information and pricing prior to submitting to the customer
• Confirm exterior color selections of adjacent homes to ensure color selections are not duplicated.
• Coordinate selections/options for “Designer Homes” and submit Change Orders by specific deadline to ensure building process is not delayed.
• Research and provide information on selections to appropriate Company representatives.
• Maintain samples in a workable and organized manner.
• Perform a variety of administrative duties including setting appointments.
• Create a selection document called a “Start Package” to include all information for the client’s new home.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer construction issues that relate to design selections.
• Ensure client sign off on selections in a timely manner.
• Assist with special projects as requested by management and perform additional duties as required.
• Problem-Solving: Addressany design-related issues or conflicts that may arise during construction,finding practical and creative solutions without slowing progress.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Previous experience in construction, interior design, or a related industry is typically required, prefer5 years of design experience.
· Ability to thrive in a professional team environment where members of the team are deeply committed to the mission and success of the organization. Work as an effective and proactive team player.
· Highly collaborative with strong networking and relationship building skills.
