Sarasota homebuilder Medallion Home received over 40 awards during the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association's 2020 Parade of Homes, making it the top competitor in the packed field for the second year in a row. Medallion won multiple awards in Single Family Home and Multi-Family Home, including six in Best Overall, which is the top prize for each category. The winners were announced at the association’s gala on March 5 at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota, where all the top executives for the region’s most celebrated homebuilding companies were in attendance.

In the Single Family Homes categories, The Grenada model located in Cross Creek in Parrish won Best Overall Community, as well as Best Curb Appeal, Best Kitchen, Best Master Suite, and Best Architectural Detail in its category. The Bermuda model at Watercolor Place in Bradenton also won Best Overall Community, Best Curb Appeal, Best Kitchen, Best Master Suite, Best Floor Plan, and Best Architectural Detail in its category. The Belize model at Waverley in Sarasota, and The Santa Maria at The Reserve at Twin Rivers in Parrish won in all of those categories, too. The stunning Dominica model at Legends Bay in Bradenton won Best Master Suite and Best Architectural Detail in its category.
Among Medallion’s newest communities, Aqua in Bradenton won for its Cat Claw and Salt Meadow models, nabbing Best Kitchen and Best Architectural Details awards. And in the Multi-Family Homes categories, the models at Watercolor Place ran their categories. The Paradise model won Best Overall, Best Kitchen, Best Master Suite, and Best Architectural Detail; The Sanibel model won Best Curb Appeal; and The Paradise and The Sanibel both received Best Floor Plan. The Boca Grande won Best Overall, Best Curb Appeal, Best Kitchen, Best Master Suite, Best Floor Plan, and Best Architectural Detail.
