December 6: Mount Dora Christmas Walk
From 5 to 9 PM, enjoy free admission to a winter wonderland at Donnelly Park. Perfect to bring the little ones, this holiday street party will feature live music, shopping, Santa, and best of all, snow sledding in Florida!
December 7 : 26th Christmas Lighted Boat Parade
What would Christmas in Florida be without a holiday spectacle on the water? Head down to beautiful Lake Dora to see local boat owners flaunt their festive light show displays and compete for the top prize.
December 7-8 : The Nutcracker
There’s nothing as special as a dazzling performance of this Christmas classic around the holidays! This season, take the whole family to the Mount Dora School of Ballet to experience all of the wintry magic.
December 8: Christmas Tour of Homes
If you’ve never experienced this annual Mount Dora event, you’re certainly in for a treat. You’re invited to join your peers and walk through 5-6 festively gorgeous homes decorated from top to bottom for the holidays.
December 14: Snow in the Park
Don’t get us wrong, we love our perfect year-round weather and palm trees, but one day of “fake winter” fun is a blast. Bring the little ones to Donnelly Park for snow sledding, ice skating, and holiday entertainment.
December 21: MDPD Northeast Community Christmas Party
Celebrate the holidays with those in your community! Police officers, library staff, and community leaders are throwing this festive party for the little ones with games, food, fun, and of course, a visit from Santa himself.
