Once again it was fun and exciting to be part of the 2023 Parade of Homes Manatee & Sarasota Counties. It was also gratifying to have our unique homes recognized for so many awards! (Not that we’re counting… but that brings us up to 172 awards in 5 years!)

It may include single-family homes, villas, and townhomes. What is The Parade of Homes to a prospective homeowner? It is a great opportunity to see a variety of homes and to be inspired by the latest innovations in homebuilding, energy efficiency, unique architecture, and interior design. 


Awards are given in different categories for homes entered in the Parade. In the Manatee-Sarasota parade, Overall awards are given to communities considered to be the “Best of” in their categories, while Merit awards are special acknowledgments given by the judges for their favorite features in a home. 


From the designers to the construction team, we are so proud and thankful for every person who took part in creating these amazing homes. We share this notable achievement with all of you! Here are the award winners…

In Florida and throughout the country, PGT Impact Windows are the gold standard when it comes to storm protection. Here at Medallion Home, we initially offered these premium windows as an upgrade because of the investment but they provide so much benefit to the home and peace of mind to the homeowner that we've decided to make them our standard in every home we build. What Are Impact Windows? Impact windows combine heavy-duty aluminum frames with impact-resistant, laminated glass and a special silicone glazing process to keep the glass from breaking away from its frame. That means that during storms and hurricanes, if flying debris hits your windows, they will stay intact rather than shatter, protecting your home from the elements and people and pets from shards of glass.
